NATALIA REY - HOME BAKER

I'm a from Venezuela. I came to United States at age 23, got married and have my first child within 2 years. Life was always fast passed but I felt great whenever baking for my family. It was something that was easy for me to do and gave me extreme joy. Baking for my son school its what started this hobby. While in his school's PTO I started taking sweets to share for every event. My first pay customer was my son's kindergarten teacher.
She hired me to bake 450 cupcakes (90 chocolate, 90 almond, 90 vanilla, 90 red velvet and 90 salted caramel) and a 8'' cake for her wedding. I will never forget that initial order and the joy I felt fulfilling it. I remember hours of hard work while baking, sorting through the different types, coordinating delivery and being responsible for the set up; all this on a December 31st 8;00pm event.

After this first job I realized baking was my thing, it was my passion.
I thought to myself, if I was able to do this extreme order by myself with the great help of my sister! I can do this.I then Decided to start my own home baking business.
From that day on baking is what makes me happy, I enjoy every minute of the stress that the kitchen brings.
I LOVE IT!
